Owner Bodil Schou-Hansen

I am a qualified Delta accredited Canine Good Citizen Instructor (an accreditation steeped in the principles of rewards based training) and hold a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. I have gained (with distinction), the internationally recognised, UK based, Competency Assessment Program, CAP 1 & 2 qualifications and am a Professional Member of the Delta Professional Dog Trainers Association, the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia and Association of Animal Behaviour Professionals.

When not involved in Adelaide Pet Dog Training I volunteer my time and services to RSPCA and AWL as it is my core commitment to work towards assisting in developing positive behaviour in as many dogs as I can.

My childhood passion for dogs has seen me own, breed and show Great Danes (achieving Champion titles). Currently I am the busy owner of two dogs; Ming, a Chow Chow and Coco, a Dogue de Bordeaux (sadly my other Chow, Chiang also pictured left, passed away in April 08) – so am very experienced in training non-conventional breeds using positive reward methods.

Supporting Bodil and sharing her passion and values is a group of experienced, dedicated and qualified instructors and assistants, who are active in the behavioural training and pet dog training fraternity in Australia, regularly attending educational conferences, seminars and workshops.
